Honouring its stance as one of Asia’s most influential and glamourous public fashion events, the Singapore Fashion Festival will once again present the best emerging and established designer collections for all fashion enthusiasts to enjoy.
Brought to you by MasterCard and the Singapore Tourism Board, the Singapore Fashion Festival runs from lateMarch to early April each year and will showcase the latest collections directly to the public and new season shoppers.
This festival offers an eye-opening preview to the season’s trendiest colours, fabrics and styles through a series of exciting fashion shows and exhibitions, as well as product launches.
Shop in between the visual feasts and take advantage of the promotions held in conjunction with the festival which is embraced by Asia’s most fashion-forward retailers along its most famous shopping street, Orchard Road, as well as in the neighbouring fashion precincts of Marina Bay and boasts an engaging 10-day schedule of events that profiles the best trend-setting looks from premium local designers to international luxury fashion brands.
As a beacon to all Festival-goers, style headquarters will again be located in the heart of Orchard Road at Ngee Ann City’s Civic Plaza, in a purpose-built tent structure that will host a multitude of gala events and memorable runway shows.
A unique feature of the Festival is that fashion enthusiasts have the opportunity to purchase the hot new looks seen on the catwalk of the Singapore Fashion Festival from leading shops in Singapore.
As one of Asia’s most influential public fashion events, it will showcase the latest Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter collections from the world’s top shows in New York, Paris and Milan. Among designers featured are UK supremo and Creative Director of Pucci, Matthew Williamson who will be making his full scale fashion runway debut in Asia. Vivienne Tam, another internationally acclaimed designer will present her Fall/Winter collection.
Other highlights include French Haute Couture designer John Luc Amsler, Shanghai based Lu Kun, Francis Cheong, Tangs, Baylene, Top Shop, Burgundy and Indian Designers Small Shop. Among the models featured are leading runway models Ai Tominaga and hot rising stars such as Anne Watanabe.
